IRS Trainings Planned

In an earlier post, I discussed the recent action by the IRS decertifying almost 300,000 nonprofits around the U.S.  This Fall, the IRS will be offering a series of one-day workshops in five cities, in which they will train nonprofits on the benefits and responsibilities of tax-exempt status; actions that can jeopardize an organization's exempt status; the Form 990 series; required disclosures and other issues that are important to the management of a nonprofit organization.  You can register at this link.

Maintaining or keeping your tax-exempt status in good standing is critical to the success of a nonprofit organization, expecially, if you want to keep donations, grants, and other private support flowing into your organization. Check out these trainings for valuable information to keep your nonprofit up-to-date and in compliance with essential IRS rules!

To your success!
