Emerging Leaders of NWI hosted another successful networking event at Asparagus Restaurant on Thursday. Their founder, Eddie Melton, an executive at NIPSCO, shared with me the group’s mission: To connect up-and-coming leaders in northwest Indiana with established leaders to promote mentoring, volunteering, and professional development (in careers and the community). Emerging Leaders regularly hosts networking events and wants to connect with young, as well as established leaders in the community.
